Ok not that I don't like Taylor... but I was really hoping they would have Steven to play Jake cos I think he's perfect for this role... at least phisically =) cos he's sooo hot that it hurts... and he has a sexy voice and i love that gnr t-shirt and he plays in rock band! (which has nothing to do with Jake but I wanted to mention that anyway lol)

steven is more like jacob black because he is taller than robert pattinson...i bet taylor got the role coz his age fits that of jacob's.
Taylor and Steven are two of the hottest guys in the world ;D I can't choose who i like more, and i reckon they both suit the role of Jacob <3
OMG Steven is so hot! I would of loved to see him play the role of Jacob Black. I think he would of done a really good job. But I love Taylor Launter too! He is a really good actor as well and plays Jacob really well. But in some ways Steven's traits fit Jacob better and in some ways Taylor traits fit Jacob better as well. UGH!! I cant decide. . . they're JUST both GREAT ACTORS!!!!LOVE THEM!!
Steven would make a good Jacob Black because he is taller than Rob and he looks older but not to old. And when Jacob becomes a werewolf he is suppose to look a little older than his age(16). And he has the hair cuz in the book Jacob's hair gets cut but he still has it about neck length instead of chop all off like in the movie. But i love Taylor he does a really good job though. They both would play the role well!

i never thought of Jacob being played by someone else ,but thanks to this article i have to say that Steven Strait would have been a good choice as well. the main problem that the makers of the movie had to deal with is to find someone who is a Native American by blood AND by certificate. That's why they picked Taylor Lautner ,cause besides his acting skills & good looks ,he's als of Native descent.(Ottawa and Potawatomi) I Love how Taylor plays Jacob ,so i'd like to stick with Taylor being Jake. he's turned into him after all these movies. it wouldn't seem right if anyoen else played him. However IF they had been abled to choose Steven from the beginning it would have been a wonderful choice.
